Today marks the start of the 23rd annual Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival. The festival runs through Sunday, March 29th.
The festival celebrates the life and literary legacy of Tennessee Williams as well as being a celebration of all forms of writing. You can expect a lot of class and seminars put on by writers. And Saturday, David Simon, creator of the hit TV show’s “The Wire” and “Homicide: Life on the Street,” is slated to discuss his latest writing project, a TV pilot “Treme.”
