A few weeks ago I was driving across the country from the West coast over to the East side. I did not go all the way to the coast on the East, but pretty close. On my way across the country I drove through Texas. A LOT of Texas. And guess what? I loved the Fort Worth and Arlington area right by Dallas. I know, I was completely shocked as well. But it was a really nice area. I stopped in Arlington to go to a Whole Foods and it was really nice and everyone there was super nice too. Well, it got me to thinking – I need to move at the end of the summer and I do not want to stay where I am at in this state so maybe I should be looking for some Fort Worth movers to get me into that area! If you are moving to Fort Worth you will likely need some good Fort Worth movers too. If that is the case, just click on the link in this post and you can get some help with getting all set up with some great Fort Worth movers that can help you get all moved and such.

Are you currently working as a nurse? Or do you know someone else out there that is working as a nurse right now? Or maybe you want to be a nurse or know someone else that wants to be a nurse? Either way you need to check out the online Scrubs magazine. This is an online zine that is targeted to nurses just like you. And this is not your usual stuffy, technical zine for nurses. This zine actually puts a human spin on nursing and offers up articles of real interest to nurses like you. If you have a look at the Scrubs mag site now you will see a great article on waking up younger. The article is chock full of tips and is really something that we all need to read and implement in our lives. You can also get the lowdown on summer scrubs fashion. But not to worry you can also get summer fashion that had nothing to do with scrubs!! There is also a makeup and beauty care section where you can read articles on things like nail care tips for nurses. But don’t take my word for it – go on and check out the site or yourself today!
Today I ventured into the Book Soup on Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles. I was curious to see why it was so well known. I suspected that it would just be your average book store. And be full of poseurs. I was surprised to see that it was a pretty cool book store. There are a LOT of recommendations from the staff on the shelves. And the recommendations were great and not your run of the mill “read this because…”
So, if you are in LA, check it out! It really is cool.
Have you heard about The Men Pen? No it is not a cleverly titled new book. Nor is it a magical writing pen that brings about men. The Men Pen is actually a concealer stick. A concealer stick as in mens makeup. You might not think about it but there are actually whole mens cosmetics lines out there. The Men Pen is a concealer stick that comes in 17 shades and was actually created about 4 years ago. You may not think that men wear or need makeup like a concealer stick but men get blemishes just like women! Men can use the Men Pen to cover up things like acne or scars or even a shaving blemish before going out on a date or on a job interview. Basically men would have the same need for it as women. In fact, you may know men right now that use a concealer stick and you have no freaking idea! Men’s cosmetics are actually pretty popular – probably even more popular that you realize. So, if you have a man in your life that worries about his appearance why not let him know about the Men Pen. You could even give one to your dad for Fathers day!
